It was time to feed Venus the fly trap.  It was a bona fide rodeo in that bathroom this afternoon.



It involved me:
~locking a fly in the bathroom
~chasing the fly around the bathroom for about 8 minutes (I don't exaggerate... this fly was not prepared to meet it's maker)
~never actually hitting the fly but at least stunning it with the hurricane-strength wind my flyswatter generated

It's kind of a vicious cycle anyway... he doesn't sleep well when he isn't swaddled because he flings his hands around, hitting his head and waking himself up.  However, there isn't a swaddle he hasn't escaped.

1.  I remembered I took this picture of Levin a few days ago for his Grandma Payne.  She LOVES it when he puts his fingers just so.  He does it almost daily for her and I try to make sure I capture each one.  Sometimes he only does it for a second and my trigger finger isn't fast enough.

It's Panicking</title><summary type='text'>When Ray and I bought our house, I told him I wanted us to have all the remodeling done within 2 years.  I wanted to be able to enjoy our house... not always be working on it.  Fortunately our baby is due exactly on the 2 year anniversary of when we signed on the house, making the desire to meet the goal even more... desirable.

Ray's gas-mileage odometer also rolled over 111.1 miles yesterday.  A good sign indeed.

The reason I put it off... I didn't want a bad passport photo AGAIN, and I didn't want to pay $15.

I cleaned out our flower beds.  I cleaned them out from 8:00am to 9:30pm.  I could see the pity in the faces of all my neighbors as they walked by.  A few of them even commented, "still going at it huh?"

Ray and I have officially quit accumulating pets. We are quitting because of necessity. We are finding we have a propensity to collect pets with LOOOONG life spans and LOOOOTS of commitment.
